Bio: Essie Bertain is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory (MFA Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy, 2023) and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (BFA Musical Theatre, 2010). She is an award-winning performer, having performed regionally in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and New England. Some of her favorite roles include The Witch in Into the Woods (ACON) Nina in In the Heights (Stumptown Stages) and Woman One in Songs for a New World (BCT). In her spare time, Essie enjoys long-distance running and spending time with her husband, Allen, and their pets.
